Reading challenge🙋📚
Whenever i want to start reading a new book, i usually try to find some basic information about both the writer and the book. Of course, it doesn't mean that i'm trying to find out what will happen in every chapter but i always look for some information about the main story. I do that because i think it is not neccessary to spend your time on reading stories or books you're not interested in. One kind of stories i'm not interested in is love or romance. But, i must admit that i've started to change my opinion since i have read the book named " No greater love" by Danielle Steel.
This book brings us back to the one of the most tragical and traumatic happenings in world history. The last journey of Titanic. The story describes life of a family who is coming back from England where they were supposed to celebrate the engangament of daughter Edvina. But, things start to change when they walk on the magnificient and unstoppable ship named Titanic.
Being the witnesses of Titanic's fail and death of more than 2000 people including their parents and the man their sister supposed to marry has changed the life of those children forever. Nothing can't and will be the same for them. They knew it.
With all things she lost, her parents, the man she was in love with, her old life, happiness and herself, the oldest daughter Edvina decides to never get married and to take care of the only thing she thought she didn't lose in the ocean, her brothers and sisters. She sacrifices her own happiness for them.
But is that what she trully wants and will she find a way out of memories, i'm leaving to you.
" Great challenges are not for everyone" this is one of the sentences in the book.
So don't hesitate, take this reading challenge for yourself and start swimming through the ocean of this book.
